Guys, as staff we were split down the middle. We try and run a decent website for all to enjoy. The split decision weeks ago is because we have rules that we all go by. Please understand that what happened elsewhere doesn't mean we can/ should punish someone who comes here. I appreciate those who shed more light in pms explaining what was going on and what to watch out for. We don't expect any more issues from all involved. Let's move on and enjoy what we love. Good evening everyone. We are currently chilling at the Brennan compound this evening watching Ground Hog Day with the family by the fire. Wishing you all a pleasant Ground Hog Day.
I'm well. It's Friday, and i have the next 3 days off. Been doing level II chimney inspections at a popular ski mountain here after a recent fire. Condos built 35 years ago, contracted out to the lowest bidder back in the 70s & 80s. Most are mfg fireplaces with air cooled chimneys. Recent fire..... association/ fire marshal locked out every one of them until inspected & ok'd. The mom & pop owners depend on renters to come up to ski, but not allowing use of the burning appliances is taking its toll on the owners- people going elsewhere. These units are mostly in chases, nothing holding back the insulation, which is falling down onto the unit. Pipes warped, refractory cracked, Chase covers leaking, clearances not met, its a chit show. We're currently doing about 20 of them, and there's roughly 300 more to do between now & spring. The ones that fail will need new appliances. We do sales & installs to, so between the 6 of us, were slamming!
