Another vote against them from here. Actually, two more votes! Had them in the mustang convertible and neither of us liked them at all.
Caffeine going in. Three day weekend! Slept in till almost 9 to catch up on some needed sleep. Time to get some things done inside this morning and then go outside this afternoon.
Back just pooped out. Was on my hands and knees picking something out of the sump pump crock and when I tried standing up, BAM! Muscle spasms, thank you.
Hope that gets better fast. Heard a sad tale this a.m. Neighbor down the road has good sized farm with sawmill business as well. He went out last Friday night to load his outside wood furnace for the night. He took a flip on the ice landed on and shattered his shoulder. The bones apparently driven inward and fractured his spine. He is down in Ottawa, paralyzed. They operated on him and are unsure at to how much if any he will gain in mobility again. Either way, he will have a long road back. Very sad, heck of a nice fella. I HATE Ice.........................
Agreed, and also I used to slide around on them in dress clothes, stressed my back using the steering wheel to stay in the middle of the seat and more frequent dry cleaning bills. Now that I'm in casual clothes and a cooler climate and I love them!! And like Canadian border VT mentioned they clean up great with kid spills and muddy dogs So sorry yooperdave !!
One of my friends and his son took a holiday in the US last year and rented a Cadillac Escalade for the trip, when he got home his wife asked what was the best part of the trip and they both said the Cadillac. The back is not bad, just limiting. One of those things where if you don't watch it, it'll get worse. Hang in there Eric VW ! No muscle relaxers here, brenndatomu . I have them, just don't use them....bad results from them in the past.....!
Been doing laundry and other house chores this morning. Cold outside. Paid a few bills. Then went out and cut some more firewood after lunch. Wind is nasty though. I probably cut about 5 bucket loads. But after I hauled the first one back I said to heck with this wind and put the tractor back in the barn. I’ll wait till tomorrow. Hopefully the wind will be gone then.
