i cut a load of logs 4 months ago up the pond,i was not able to pick them up because the corn was not cut, then it got to wet to pick them up.i went up there shooting today and there were some gone, some one has been up there taken them.i went up there 3 weeks ago and some were in the pond.its still to wet to pick them up,so will have to keep an eye on the pond,or they will take them all.
You live in the UK and were out shooting?! I thought you Brits didn't like guns! Sucks about the wood. Around here anything on the side of the road doesn't last long...but nobody would take any wood that was cut back on someone's property off the road.
That's just lousy. Drape some yellow "Caution do not cross" tape around what's left. Might not make a difference, but it might. Sent from my SM-T280 using Tapatalk
Or get 2 trail cameras, one on the wood and one at the most likely spot a vehicle stood by for loading. Hopefully you can get pics and a license plate. I hate a thief.
the pond is up out the way. so they cant get a van or car there, its across fields .they must have a wheel barrow to get them.
Well, I guess it wasn't too wet for someone else to pick it up! The temptation was just too great. I'm thinking this was on public land?
If it's just laying there with no markings, then there's great temptation.. Sent from my SM-T280 using Tapatalk
yes dennis, but thats the only way to get them,i will have to wait now till the corn is cut and get them with the quad bike and trailer.the pond is now full right up with water with all the rain we have had.
Yes, most of the ponds around here are about full too but frozen over. I would not trust the ice though as we've had some very warm and sunny days. And, it is very normal for the water level to go up from now until the heat of the summer.
no dennis. there is corn in the field have to wait now till its cut now july august.then pick them up with the quad and trailer, cut some more and take them in.wont be leaving any up there next year.
