Me and the 362 spent the morning bucking 5 ash trees I put down a few days ago. A lot of wood handling still ahead. Gotta get the rounds off the hill and to my splitting area. THEN split, stack and wait. I must be close to 8 to 10 years ahead now. I can't help it, I'm an addict!
It helps to have 6 acres of dead ash and work on a horse farm with 105 acres of dead ash! We gots da bug bad here!
Way to get after it Ralphie Boy. You say addict like its a bad thing? Healthiest addiction I know of, good for the mind, body and soul!
It is not only about the wood. For some of us it is a chance to get outside and run another saw. The wood looks great.
Someone is living a hoarders dream, some nice wood gathering goin on there! And it looks dry and cold too. I got another 3 big ashes to cut, got to wait for frost though otherwise they might pop out in china as the ground is soaking.
