Here in one of my call center's I actually bought 7' ladders to work on the lighting and hvac stuff. 6' ladder is a tad too short and the 8' are a little too high so the 7' are perfect! Problem solved.

I used to use a step ladder that had a railed platform as its top step. You actually could use the top step.

Then there was the step ladder that had a straight up and down center extension that sucker you guyed off and wore a climbing harness when you used it, damm thing scared the crap out of me, it was used to change long florescent tubes, on an auditorium ceiling.

20180125_070230.jpg Not a great pic, but here it is. Not a lot of time and having a bit of computer issues.

Wind this morning makes you step lively. Dummy me didn't fill up the truck on the way home so I was performing that at 5 AM (still had plenty but usually try to keep at least 1/4 tank). Thought about NOT parking at the building across the street as I usually do (work's satellite location), but need all the exercise I can get so just sucked it up and parked in my normal spot. Glad most of the driveways and road were clear of ice so I could hurry instead of walk like a penguin

We have lite off, boy am I getting behind the eight ball. After letting the stove go out I dumped enough smoke for several years burning. Getting dumb and slow in my old age.
