Well, the temperature went above 40° today so I took the 362 out and put down 8 dead ash trees.

Three in one spot I dropped criss cross over each other because the were so close to each other. And crossed a couple more in another spot.

None were very big, maybe 8 to 14" in diameter. The biggest hassle was cutting through a mountain of greenbrier, Russian olive, and honeysuckle bush to get to them.

Tomorrow is headed for 50° but I'm gonna' be using a bicycle rather than a chainsaw.

I couldn't get all the pictures posted. Either the individual file is too large or the total file size of all the pictures is too large.

Ralphie Boy , there's a pic limit, and I maybe a file size limit too. Most of us do what you just did and use the thumbnail button when adding pics. Nothing wrong with breaking up the pics into more posts if needed.
Looks to me like you had way too much fun there.

Nice sized trees, pretty tall too. Looks like a nasty poison ivy vine on the one, I hate that, but fortunately I'm not very sensitive. Hope you are not either.

Nope, I don't get the stuff. I can rub it on my skin and nothing happens. Just lucky I guess

Ralphie Boy, I just look at poison ivy and I have it everywhere and I mean everywhere. Wife would always ask how come I got it in certain areas. I told her your out in the woods hunting, cutting tree's or just checking things out, you do what you gotta do. So one time I have it really bad in a very sensitive location. The wife says best thing to use would be some rubbing alcohol, pour a big handful and slap it right on your boys. Well she still gets a great laugh thinking of me screaming in bloody agony in the bathroom. Oh and I just read her my post, I got the usual response of hysterical laughter.Lol

Yeah, my doctor warned me that could happen. My mother lived to be 91 and she never had it and never took precautions to guard herself against it. I hope I've got her genetic makeup!

Yep! Went 30 years completely immune to it...until I wasn’t. That was an unpleasant surprise.

Nice work sir, I'm jonesing to get out but I'm in the hard work phase of PT post shoulder surgery so I have a bit longer. I'm the same way concerning the ivy, sumac and poison oak, however, I get no pass.

45 years for me. I mowed it, weed eat'd it, brush hogged it and pulled it by hand once. Then one day I cut a 4" vine off a standing tree. I knew what it was but thought I wouldn't get it. Surprise!

First 3 bucked today. Went for a 45 mile bicycle ride so I didn't have time (or energy) to buck the other five.

Next problem is how to get them off the steep hillside.

There's about 40 to 50 more trees to cut if anyone wants to come out and play!
