    LOL,I have tried the propane torch thing,several times(lost cause)I have tried my big diesel garage heater,turbo heater,whatever we call them now,after many years out here,I have found cheap water softener salt works better.

    K,my turn,spent 4 hours moving snow,in my backhoe,yesterday,for dumb neighbor(but,made money!),and another 40 minutes for a freebe,for other neighbor,legs hurt so bad,today,dam,sucks getting old

    Uggg, driveway is completely ice covered. Was hoping yesterdays strong sun on the asphalt would start the process as it usually does but nope. Maybe this weekend will melt off before rain/snow again Sunday and Monday :confused:

    I went out and sanded after I got home last night. There was absolutely no meltage over the last couple of days - Even the rain Tuesday just fell on top of the snow/ice form Monday then froze to make a nice thicker layer of ice. Oh yeah, I also shoveled off the broken sheets of ice that had dumped from the roof.

    I have to do the dump run tonight, so have to remember to take my empty bucket to fill with sand. I still have two buckets of sand left, so not a disaster if I forget. but, I like to be over prepared!

    I put it over my eye's when contractors come to do work for us. Let the safety lady handle their antics. One guy got walked out the other day for one footing the top step of a ladder when a taller ladder was 10 feet away. :headbang:

    Most of it is all gone over yonder. Just some of the plowed up piles remain. Roads were completely clear too! :cool: Might just stay tucked in come Monday morning. Had enough white knuckle ride ins for the season already........... :mad:

    I was at a national store last weekend that was doing pre inventory. One guy was standing-both feet- on top of a step ladder. OSHA would have had a bird.
