One year and over seven months later i am not much further ahead than when my search began. I could tell some doozie stories and laugh at some misadventures but I will let y'all know I'm as "on the case (chase)" as ever. Should it really be this difficult? Alas, I plunge forward...
Hmmmmm.....does make me wonder. I have been married 3 times, yet have been continuously married for 23 years...I never missed a year. Married in 1995, Divorced in January of 2005, then remarried in October of 2005, then divorced in May of 2011, then 54 days later, married again to Katie. As I often joke, "when the ladies hear I am available, they come running!" Naturally I am only teasing you Scavenger, and am laughing at myself, and wish you all the best on your hunt for a mate, as well as other people on here that are looking for their next love. Never give up, there is always someone special for everyone out there.
I acknowledge that remark and can see how someone comfortably situated could make it. At anytime anyone could find themselves in a similar situation as me. Thank your stars you aren't if you are so inclined to enjoy companionship. I'm not desperate nor do I carry much "baggage". Keep smiling and get out there!
Yeah, there is a dating show called "Baggage". So you can learn your potential date's baggage before he is selected. Innovative show to say the least. I wasn't saying anything derogatory or meant anything disrespectful if you took it that way.
No offense JWinIndiana at all. It has been mentioned (what hasn't) oh back on page 15 or 20 or 44 about baggage. Let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone....someone said that a long time ago and I remember that in my travels. PS no tv...So never saw the show...I'm living it
As if it's not enough for me to dash to the wood burner 3 times a night to keep her going, last night at 4:30 I was awaken by what I thought was my neighbor in dire straits! Oh the mournful cries! About a dozen or so! Was she in some kind of trouble? What would I grab to put on? I hoped they wouldn't come knocking! Tben it was over.... Add Eastern screech owl to my suitors....what next?
Something like that happened to me while re-attending university 20 years ago. In the apartment directly below me, a younger recently divorced women moved in. I woke up one night with what I thought was someone crying out in pain! Nope, me bad...no pain at all, going on in her apartment! I bet she woke up the whole building!!!
I thought similar too 30 years ago!!!!!!!!!!! For 3 years every morning in the spring summer and fall I would hear it in the morning (1 bed rental in bottom floor condo/apartment house) and I thought really!! Every single morning!!! Finally figured out it was the manager using a scrench to put the sprinklers on every morning between the two apartments
Back on page 81 I let everyone know I was occupying some spare time with a guy 10 years my junior. Not any longer. Had to let that go. Now I'm occupying my spare time on the couch watching my fire keep me warm. Hope springs eternal.....
