I started another thread a year ago about a closet and bathroom remodel, well with this weeks weather it was a great time to finish some interior trim work on the closet. However, between now and them the slider glass door went bad and was replaced which needed trim too. Oh and the skylight which was put in 3 years ago needed trim also. So on went the finish carpenter hat Thank heavens my beautiful young bride has patience with me! Pics added after (Cause I cant type on a cell phone and that's were are) Finished first part of trim at noon Well then to finish trim in closet, I needed to put on my electrical hat, as you know lights are important and come to think of it so are closets especially to girls! Not trying to be sexist here but I built 80 square feet of closets and they are full before finished! but since its been a year so . Well before I finished the electrical, situation my beautiful wife said "um honey, we got a water leak in the laundry room .. Went and checked and sure enough a hot water heating line that had a bleeder valve in a 90 started leaking bad. So I asked her to clean off the shelf while I shut down furnace and drained the line. Went back and wire nutted the wires for safety. Ill put that hat back on tomorrow, and grabbed plumbing buckets. You know those 5 gallon pails with a torch, pipe cutter, solder, flux etc etc. So I put on a plumbers hat Of course it went over the gas line to the dryer so a little more caution was necessary, just to make things interesting, and keep me from hurrying Part 1.
As I know you hoarders are a pic demanding crowd! I split this into 2 parts cause you can only put soo many pics in a post. Sorry mostly before and after because when you got a torch in one hand and solder in the other you leave phone alone or I do anyway! So the finish carpenter hat, electrician hat and then the plumbers hat! By now its 4 and I have had enough fun for one day! Time for something besides a coffee! Well since my beautiful bride was busy putting the towels and detergent back in the laundry room, hey I make a mess she pics up after me! She asked if I would help with dinner so the hat comes into play. I grilled her up some nice T bones, Now this day is over i am going to have dinner (shes making salad and sides ) and put on a drinking hat! The ironic part of this is I didn't get to wear my FHC hat at all, only hat I have as I don't wear hats
Nice lookin' steaks. I used to wear hats. I quit, since they give me headaches and they get changed too frequently. (which can also cause headaches).
Well wife will agree with you once the job is done! Hoping by Valentine's day depending on what else goes wrong
Oh wait.....there is one hat I have. It's made of aluminum foil. Never know when "they're" trying to read your thoughts.
