The best thing about the Pats...if they can't win it on their own, the refs will win it for them!!

As hard as it’s been since I truly love football, I have not watched a single live snap of the NFL this year. Leave your social causes at the door and play the game for which you are paid. I have enough stress and things to raise my blood pressure, and when players are “making statements” instead of just going to work I found it easy to not watch this season.

That said, congrats to the 2 teams. Reaching the Super Bowl is a heck of an achievement.

I used to be a Pats fan, many moons ago when Bledsoe was the QB......when they booted him for Brady, well, I lost the liking for them. Yeah, I get it.....that was a business decision, but it was the WAY they did it.....not to mention Belachick has the personality of a wet rock....lol

All stabbing aside, they're pretty much unstoppable. Best organization in pro football in many years. And seeing my beloved James Harrison getting time on the field again makes me smile.

That being said, I haven't watched much football, bits and pieces here and there when flipping through channels. The BS protesting and a doosh-bag commissioner took my love of the game away.....

    Football players are not heroes.
Armed forces personnel, veterans, cops and fire fighters are heroes.
The officer, kid, that was buried here 2 weeks ago, he is a hero.
I have not watched NFL for 6 weeks. Don't know when or if I will again.

Congrats. Must be nice to see your team go to the big game. I've been a Raider fan forever, but I'm more so a passionate Michigan fanatic so there's this:

I live with 3 Pat fans so it's been quite the ride. I'd love to see him retire on top and not go by way of Joe Thiesman.
I really think they'll have their hands full with the Eagles. Howie Long's son is an animal!!!!

You are spot-on right. People WORSHIP these players. It's really kinda sad.

    My view, it’s a game.
I donated to the fund to help pay off the slain Marshall’s mortgage... Hate to see this stuff turn (political for a lack of better term). These are my entertainers, that’s all.
