Great gramma always said, horses sweat, men perspire and ladies merely glow. She was too much of a lady to discuss:fart:.

    I didn't get those genes.

    Glad it went well golf66

Well I'll be damm there's a thread on colonoscopy. I just had one a few day's ago. I was violated from both entrance and exit. I did request that they start my procedure from the top though.

Sometimes it pays to stay awake so you can tell them that they're on the wrong end to perform a colonoscopy.....

Bet that left a bad taste in your mouth!

"Hey Doc, where do you want me to leave my pants?" "Over on the chair, with mine!!!" :bug:

My first colonoscopy was awkward. I am an Rn, The ones that came in to assist in the procedure were folks I know. :picard:. After the IV went in, it was lights out until I woke up later in another room. Next time I had it done, I didn't worry about it a bit. Goes with the territory. I know I try hard not to embarrass anyone I had to do procedures on that required exposing parts that were normally covered. I've put hundreds of catheters in. Just would talk to them about a football game, cars, the dog, or something else of interest to keep them distracted. Works most of the time.

That would be too awkward for me to contemplate, but I work in a welding shop so it doesn't really equate. What could I say?
-" Dude, you feeling OK? Just my opinion, but you'll not get the penetration you're after using that rod." Seeeee.. it doesn't work.
    I'll see myself out.. :emb:

Depends on the forum. Lol. If you ask my girlfriend, she'd probably say the backside makes more sense sometimes.

My dad is a colon cancer survivor and has worn a colostomy bag for almost 20 years now. So I have had and will have many more to do. Here is a well known statement in our home, "better to burp and taste it than fart and waste it".

No Play-Doh needed here! Wait till the flakes have to deal with medical issues. A colonoscopy will be followed by 6 months of grief counseling.

My previous Dr tried to get me to have a colonoscopy for years, but I never went. Then he retired and my new Dr (a 30 something) woman had me booked the first time I saw her for something else. The stuff I had to drink was vile but I did get a good clean-out. They found and removed 4 polyps and I have to go back for another go in 5 years (well now 4). I am looking forward to it,:tears:
