No, I've been running around getting trailers inspected (new tires on one) and after the snow the sun was so strong it melted all the snow off the road the leads to the trails so we called it a year.

Once we get the trailer back we'll load the sleds up and then put the trailer in the woods until next year.

We took the sleds off the trailer and they even started so we went for a small ride for around 10 miles, I had been outside working when we decided to do it so I didn't have the camera.

Not much for a base, the majority of the snow we received this year was the fluffy stuff and not wet and heavy.

Maybe tomorrow I'll put more fuel in and take a ride on the county trails. I think last year we only put 90-100 miles on them because of the lack of snow.

We hit some of the same trails this morning and took the county trail up through the woods a certain distance then came back, I never charged the batteries so no pictures. They're being charged for our afternoon ride if we decide to go.

It sure was, we saw one sled on our second ride and none on the first. I'll be back to roof raking tomorrow and then maybe put some wood in using the sled just for the hell of it.

Beautiful pictures. Looks like parts of the brook are pretty narrow with ice. You getting warm out Saturday?

We might hit 39 so the water level in the Brook will rise and bring some of that ice from the sides down to the ice jam, the town hasn't done a thing about the original ice jam from the last warm weather.

I don't have any pictures but we used the sled to put in four bags of pellets. After we put in the pellets I did some roof raking and then took the sled back on the property I cut on and then to the state park.

Tomorrow we'll put in another three loads of wood with the sled before the rains come. This will leave us with 1.24 cord or four f/c in this area that we planned on burning.

For February we'll move to the northside of the house for some Sugar Maple & Beech. We also have a f/c of American Hophornbeam if we get another bogydave Arctic Cold Wave coming down.

Love that picture of the brook. Real Christmas/winter card scene. We are down to just above freezing this morning but we won't see any snow out of it.

Thanks Woodwidow , one of these years we plan on sending out Christmas cards so we might use it.

We did put another three loads of wood in today using the sled (two pictured) and tomorrow before we put them back on the trailer, we'll put a load or two of Oak in and then get ready for the rain.

We put in the rest of the Oak in using the sled, it was 1.5 loads. All 3 racks are full with some on the floor so we'll be set until into the first week of February or maybe more.

We put the sleds back on the trailer until after we get more snow after the rains.

When I was covering the tractor about 45 minutes ago, it started to rain.
