Ask This Old House or Wild West Alaska for me. Top Gear (British) is entertaining occasionally. Other than that, I prefer sitcoms made prior to 1990. Anything newer always portrays men as useless idiots that the wife browbeats and the children disrespect. Ridiculous.
I love Ask This Old House. And I agree about most sitcom having men as idiots. Have you seen the new Tim Allen show? Good god!
Nah...never saw it. Did like Home Improvement back in the day. It had a good balance of masculinity and light humor. I tend to like the way things were as I remember 'em. I'm watching a SuperFriends cartoon from 1977 as I write this. Good times as a kid.
Super friends was great, I introduced my son to it when you was a wee one and it was his fav for many years.
Breaking Bad was definitely one of the top 3 shows I have seen on TV. Loved The Killing, Damages and we watch The Good Wife.
I am not one for reality shows, they are a big part of why we got rid of cable, but that looks like it might actually be documentary style. Hope so.
Stopped washing Survivor. My man Rupert was the first one off and Carlton made me want to vomit. It is just a big soap opera now. I like some good mysteries, and I must admit to liking space sci-fi's, occasionally I can find a good travel log. Netflix offers me some fair options.
Anybody who watched this show on tv: http://www.americanloggers.com. I have a cousin who is one of the drivers.
Yes..there's drama as everyone is acting tuff for tv, but it's cool to watch them level the side of a mountain or those guys pulling cypress out of the swamps
If I'm going to watch the drama, I would be more interested in big bad wood, at least they are in my setting.
