Bought my son a Beretta A400 Xtreme...seems to be a pretty nice shotgun. I prefer wood, but he wanted the synthetic furniture
Nice Woodchuck I have it’s forefather, the Beretta 391 Xtrema. It doesn’t look as nice as the wood and metals guns, but it feeds everything from light target loads to 3.5” magnum goose and turkey shells.
How do you like the Extrema? Ironically, I just got one yesterday. Original box, manuals, choke tubes, etc. It was purchased new in 2012 according to the receipt that was still with it. Has seen light use and well cared for, I think. Looked like a good deal to me. It will be my duck/goose gun and turkeys if I find time for them in the spring. Sent from my SM-S320VL using Tapatalk
The one you got is the “newer” Xtrema II which is a good thing. The Xtrema 1 had an issue where many of them, including mine, would shoot WAY left out of the box. After close to a year back at the company, it was returned to me with a new barrel and it shoots better now. Other than getting off to a bad start, and the fact that it is a big chunky gun, I have no other complaints. I don’t shoot it nearly enough, but when I do, it just plain works.
I've looked over those A400's and really like them. How does it shoot and does your son like it? Sent from my SM-S320VL using Tapatalk
It seems to be a real nice shotgun...very well made as you would expect from Beretta. It will take everything from 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 and with Beretta's Blink system it is a fast shooter too with very low recoil. We hope to really get out and evaluate when the weather cooperates a little
No pic, but my Grandpa “Pops” gifted me an mint condition 870 from the year I was born. He handed it to me 15 minutes before I walked down the aisle
Nice Kel tec, I almost pulled the trigger on a UTAS a while back. didn't do it. Instead I bought a kel tec sub 2000 in 40
i have four 12 gauge shotguns, and today i went to the gun shop after shooting. and bought a nice side by side,20 gauge AYA number 4.
Mossberg SA20 The only reason I haven't bought it is it only holds five rounds. guess that's not a biggie though.
