Awritey, firewoodseason has started for me with a nice batch of oak ... and there's more waiting. Homebound... *Some of them been posted before, i wanted them all together in one thread.
Today i started with a wee dead oak limb, dropped during the storm - Farmland. Actually i wanted to disassemble this Ash, knocked over during the last storm... ... but the Farmer asked me to take care of this first: To cut down the Treeline on the left, to keep the path clear. Aye aye Sir! Mostly Maple and some Ash - i cut only 2 trees and 1 limb, bit short on time there. I also got me this sort of Lunchbox thing for my extra chains, works fine! It has 2 compartments, lower one is for the ole 20" bar, upper one for the 15". To be continued...
Not surprising when the integration of English is actually just one of 3-6 languages Europe often teaches in school as a mainstay. This does include Writing it. Unfortunately we don’t seem to put that sort of thing high on the list of priorities here. Bummer huh?
Unfortunately, 9 out of 10 Americans couldn't find a given country on the map, even with a pin stuck in it. But they could tell you all about the Kardashians.
Sounds like they are just as good as me in geography... unfortunatly i couldnt tell you anything about the kardashians either. Not that im intrested to do so
Yep, quite a bunch of history going on there. A daily reminder of all that BS is the everyday finding of unexploded ordonance across the republic, whether its ally bombs or wehrmacht/ally ammunition, shells or grenades.
That's a good amount of trees, he has farmed for you. And right next to the path, win/win. We could use some easy like that.
No cutting today just relocating and restacking today.. Thats what my woodshed looked like 3 days ago, sorta empty - stuff on the right is only 1 year old. *this foto is a bit older, few weeks like, just so you can imagine what the kraut is on about. We had to get more wood from the hidden stash - deep countryside bound. I had a big pile in my driveway - it caught a little rain, on foto it looks more wet than it actually is. Another 2 trailers and the hands wont be that shakey for the next weeks. Fir, Spruce, Pine, Birch, Ash and plenty of Oak.
Yep and theres even more, if nothing major changes, i dont need to worry about firewood for the next years. I gonnae haul it with the frontloader away, for splittin and stackin - infact i might just split it there. The grass is always greener on the otherside isnt it... i would like to have your range/space overhere... imagine half of TX ( thats ruffly the size of germany) with 80million people, kinda crowded eh.
