I put up a 30ft tv tower about 20 yrs ago or more and took it down this summer. My nerves were sketchy even with a harness. Piece by piece, you had to lift it about 6 inches and balance it straight up then slide it down some to tie a rope on it to lower it. Never again:picard:

It was actually in the 20's when I got up this morning and there were a few drips coming off the roof. Taking that as a positive sign that it will dump today or tomorrow (crossing my fingers anyway). Oh yeah, and the Cellah Dwellah actually shut all the way down last night (on auto/room temp). That hasn't happened, without me forcing it to for cleaning, in quite some time.

Printer started acting up, putting new cartridges in and cleaning heads had no effect, so ordered a new Epson on Sat from 'Zon with Prime 2 day shipping. Tracker says out for delivery.....we'll see.

Morning all, no Beer last night, just lots of Ibuprofen and sleep.

Awake w/ the ladies this am, the Subaru had a TPMS light on after 'sn*wplowing' with it during the storm last Thursday, checked it Monday am, fought with 2 different tire inflators & 2 different pencil gauges trying to get an accurate reading from this (1) tire. Added about "10 seconds" of air, kicked it, looked good, and off they went.

So I pulled out the MAC compression tester (dial gauge) & air tool tire fill adapter, to Macguyver an accurate, temporary gauge setup last night.

Tire was 4 lbs. low this am, had the air compressor ready, filled to 2 psi over (32) - we'll see how it goes the next few days. * I think the valve seat in the stem for this wheel may be the issue, but I'm not messing w/ it, off to the shop or dealer it goes.

    (2) cheapo tire inflators and (2) pencil tire gauges heading for the trash this morning.. Done w/ keeping junk around, need the room.

The MAC Compression tester dial gauge only goes 10 lb increments, so ordered & picking up a good quality 0-60 psi dial gauge @ Advance Auto this am.

No roof work today, sleeted / rained, then snowed yesterday afternoon.. It may melt off, we'll see.

Sn*wblowing front paths, sn*w raking back main roof -> and clearing back deck are the tasks before Thursday. If clearing the top loft roof doesn't happen, we'll just keep an eye on it and deal w/ as needed. * Would like to get it done, calling for 1 inch of rain here Fri/Sat.

It's Warming up on the mountain, everything snow packed is getting 'greasy' .. Will be sanding all walk paths every day now. * Did fine on the roof, almost took a header on the front path this morning trying to "leap tall snow in a single bound" ('cause I'm a dumb-azz:picard:) - please be careful out there folks.

Hope you have a fun day everyone.

I gave up playing with inkjets and went to a laser years ago.

I gave up ladders and such sometime ago this includes step ladders more than two steps high. I was able to change out four of the five interconnected alarms in the house. Eldest daughter did that one, I was the weight holding the extension ladder.

For me, inkjets are money suckers and they never work when needed especially with the fact that I dont print much at all. Whenever I needed them the heads would be dry and clogged. Bought a Samsung laser BW 5-6 years ago that is still on its original cartridge. Works every time I needed it.
