I hope you got some good ones. I had some that were hot and some that were all ash. I have 11 bags of ash left that I'll burn in the spring.

    AWF White pine.

I usually run more generic cheaper stuff, but I didn't want to take the stove down to do anything to it. Just wanted to pour 'em in and burn 'em up. I would not have felt as comfortable doing that 24-7 for three days straight on Green Supreme.

I must have found the sweet spot on the P43 settings cause the past 18 days it's been running great, 77 in stove area, keeps the rest of the downstairs at 73, upstairs at 70, even when it's below zero out. Glass has one small area where it has a slight white coating, rest is still clean. When the wife asks "is it too warm in here" I just say "go outside for a minute and come back in, it'll feel fine".

Hey Dan, I pay $0.10 per KW/h. According to a local energy chart, my gas would be 1/2 the cost of this or $0.05. I believe my pellet fuel is costing me around $0.07.

A nice pellet , they smell Great , my only issue with them is they don't slide down in the hopper , more than once I've had one of the stoves shut down , no fuel when you open the hopper there's 10 - 15 lbs. stuck in the corners . When I burn these I make sure that I'm going to be around to stir the hopper a few times .

And this would be why I use pellets (which I did not pay as much as shown) instead of propane.

Back to LaCrete's in the P68 and NW Super Spruce in the P43 . Not entirely impressed with the Oakie Plats was kind of bummed when he offered me 4 bags as he hit a few bags trying to grab the pallet of SS, I asked do you have any of them for sale and his reply was no they are all sold (probably 8 ton). Guess it was a good thing . Heat was good kinda ashy and a tad dirty but the stove was cranking all night long .

I always like to point out, that, for instance, on your chart, it says that
    Natural gas.. around $1.10/therm

I don't care what the cost of the gas is,
I care about what the TOTAL cost is...
After all the garbage they tack on.. it is $1.66
So when you figure that factor, pellets here, even at $250, is cheaper..

We had -12 here last night and that’s the coldest we’ve seen so far. Fortunately today is the end of this cold snap. Starting tomorrow, it’s 30s and 40s for the next week. We even have one or two days where the overnight low is predicted to be 40s.

Yeah, I can totally see that. They're almost "sticky" to the touch a little. I'm assuming that's the resins that make them burn so nice. I don't care too much however since I'm in there stirring around every couple hours anyway. Just can't leave it alone. I'm the guy who can't leave the campfire alone and keeps poking at it with a stick.

My only issue with the AWF white pine (other than price and availability) is the amount of fines and broken pellet chips in the bag. I thought I was seeing a lot of pellet chips as I was loading into the stove, so I sifted about the lower two thirds of a bag and here are the results. This is the chipped up broken pellets. About a quart:

And here are the dust and fines:
