Colder here. What's your temp? What ya burnin?

The temperature is one thing. The humidity inside caught my attention.

 

I added a whole house humidifier. It helps.

 

i keep a pan of water on the stove plus i got a small humidifier it keeps the humidity around 50-60 % in here.

 

my plan is to replace the stuck open thermostat in my truck and tinker with my newly acquired echo cs 5000

 

up to 23 now 41 sounds like paradise to me

 

It's gonna feel like

 

No below zero this morning....left the wife a "rick" of hedge, ash and hickory stacked inside the woodshed, as I do every Fri. 'cause I work 12 1/2 hour shifts on the weekends,,,,
I'd rectum she fed the beast last nite and will do so again today.
Weather is gonna turn to crap tonight.

yes i replaced the chain and the stale gas and it seems to run and cut well. still needs going over and the rim replaced since it is in bad shape.

It's 22 degrees below zero the sun is out and the stove is cranking.

 

15 this morning and still 72 inside. Feels good compared to the 68 and the furnace running a bit. Probably let the stove sit idle as we should get some help from the sun to keep it nice in here. Lots of heat being fed back into the house from my basement cement slab floor from running harder than normal the last week combating below 0 temps. Gonna be burning a little less wood this week:

 

-8F at 6am. Up to -5 now. I can't wait until later this week when it' supposed to hit high 40s! Need to tear apart my plow pump, it's freezing up. Time to bite the bullet and just do it right.
