We have a regular temp of -18 already so we have some coals burning down in the Liberty with the Pellet Stove getting turned on soon so I'm just letting the furnace run some.
Send it, our dog from Texas wants out for some longer walks. She doesn't mind the snow or the cold but this chit is hard on the paws so maybe she needs some booties. We have an area close to the house where she goes but then we get her in quick.
Our regular temp hit -21 tonight so the Liberty has some Sugar Maple and Oak going and I finally turned the pellet stove on for about an hour or so.
The warmer weather is definitely on the way to your place now! The wind has been howling and increasing ever since sunset.
Teens° & 20°s for us for the next few days In the forecast Be nice to have that all the way thru March
1130 hours, 7 degrees. Supposedly going to go below zero tonight, I’ll check the weather station in the morning.
We’re turning the corner here. It’s -15 right now but it’s supposed to be warming up as the night moves on. 20’s tomorrow will feel like summer.
Yep, it’s official- Bridgewater VA at -0.4 degrees at 0831 hours. Should be warming up to mid 20’s today, though. Hope everyone has a warm day!
It's been a tough stretch for the Hounds, they are used to a lot of outdoor activity, it's just not safe to let them run.
It was 1° here this morning at 08:19 luckily didn't have much wind to deal with Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
We finally hit 0 but still have a wind chill of -15, after the second cup of hot chocolate it will be time to see what starts and doesn't.
You've been posting these BELOW ZERO temps for over a week pellet & wood stoves burning "Ole Man Winter" likes your area Break any record low temps° yet ?
Some areas have set records but I'm not sure about this area. It's been a tough heating season for some with wood heat, there has been structures lost and death.
Edwards is over an hour away, cold! Syracuse, N.Y. -- Two spots in Upstate New York were the coldest places in the continental United States this morning. Edwards, in St. Lawrence County, and Philadelphia, in Jefferson County, plunged to 36 below zero today.
