There’s a reason why they call it a “One horse open saucer disc ride”

It is 7 feet in the front, sloping to about 5 feet in the back. It is about 5 feet deep. I don't know how long it is. There is a third bay that is filled with kindling and pool crap.

    Yea
    We’ve all been there .
If birch or maple it may get moldy,
    other types are more forgiving.

Just went out and grabbed some splits for the night from under the roof. Cold clear and calm just the way winter should be! Tossed some splits in before I went out and the chimney smoke was rising darn near straight up, earlier it was going sideways! 5CCEB2BC-F3A1-471E-B612-3723650DF948.jpeg

Nope, this is the accumulation of several storms since early December. No major storms this year, but we've only had one warm-up since the first snow, so it keeps adding up.

    no

I have these little stashes all over
that one has begun to fall down
    again
that's some young understory pine that didn't make it thru the drought

the sensor in the 6s couldn't quite capture the green the way my eyes were resolving the pine needles all over the surface of the snow with that little light - the trees took a beating in the last storm. It was laying all over.

By the way the snow is stuck to the tree trunks,
you had a strong wind / snow event .
Zoomed in I can see pine tree tracks all over the ground, on top of the snow
    but not much green color.

Sure are!!! They’ve been out around the stacks and hanging out under the LED light I’ve got out there. It’s driving someone nuts !!! 8680C58E-E5D9-4A06-8043-4D0B4CC57FCF.jpeg
She knows they are out there and can’t relax so this is what I get all night! “ Please let me out!!! I need to howl at the bunnies!!!”
