Walmart had at least 4 cameras below $75 yesterday I think.

The Tasco is a lower end now. 1 second trigger and only 6mp. But for a feeder it's all you would really need if taking closer pics.

I have a primos proof cam. I bought a second this year. I think after rebate there like $35 on black friday. Bight one the last 2 years. It's like 12 or 16mp. I forget. .7 sec trigger time. It takes decent pics. This year I had some pics of bucks fighting in front of it at maybe 50 to 65 feet from camera. I don't think they triggered it so not sure if there was not a closer deer would they have been caught or not, but I could tell enough detail to see what they were easy. Closer pics are good quality too.

I know shipping is crazy and probably a deal breaker is why you just don't shop Walmart.com or get one of us guys to send you one.

My brother lives in Nevada and I routinely have items shipped to him. When I used to buy more from eBay, items had free shipping in the US or $80 shipping to Canada:bug: He either mails items to me USPS or brings it up to Canada when he comes.

I have an axe handle from Beaver-Tooth Handles and a few of these Bresser cameras from Wal-Mart sitting at his house right now. Wife and I are going to visit him next month and I'll have extra room in my suitcase ;)

I remember , I was thinking it was you that had a brother here. Remember I sent him/you something off some saw that I had that you needed. I don't remember but I am thinking it was a chain adjuster...off an 011 or 025, I can't remember.

Good memory :). My brother lived in Utah then and it was a chain adjuster that I put on my MS 170 ;)

Finally went back to check on the Cam I left out. Not a lot of activity since I stopped putting out the corn but every few days some does come by for some minerals. I did get a snap of this though, by far the most exciting pic for weeks.

    Screenshot_20180107-125948.png

I changed out batteries, which still showed more than 50% and set it to high quality video. Room for 500+ 10 second videos on the card. Should be quite the show once they figure out there's 200lbs of molasses coated corn at the lick.

Great picture. We get coyote pics but they are all at night so they aren’t that impressive. Love the daytime pic you have. Hope to see more of your pics.

Uhhh...have to get back on that. I just got a newer model, but unsure which my two older ones are. Their camera catalog can be confusing. I think the Cam is 12mp? Might be higher. I have had great experiences with the Brownings. No complaints really. The unit that took the above photo has been in the field since last Christmas except for a short summer break. I bought the smaller Masterlock viper cables to lock them up. Great combo. I will report back with a model #.

I should have some good video soon. Changed settings today. May put a secondary on the site for different angle.

Camera is 12mp. I believe the video is 720p. Not sure if this model is still available, but I'd wager that most all of the Browning branded cams will perform well. Reviews for trail cams are a mixed bag. The Brownings seem to always have favorable reviews and the same holds true for my experience.

I have had terrible luck with stealth o cams or whatever the name is. I avoid them at all costs. Others seem to have success, but not me with 2 or 3 only lasting a season.

Went back to the camera yesterday. Current conditions dictated tractor instead of pickup. Have 240 videos...currently trying to figure how to merge and upload to YouTube. Pretty neat seeing their behavior via video, vs stills.

The woods were stunningly beautiful after the storm Friday night.

Pretty decent on battery life considering the temperature. Good thing...comparment was frozen shut, so couldn't change them anyways. I switched back to stills anticipating a lot of action coming. Room for 3k pics.

Another 120lbs of corn down. There was still a little left from last weekend. I added this stuff. Dunno if it's any good, but was on clearance for $3.

Sneak peak of some of the video content.

I have 240 5-20 second clips on sd card. Not efficient to upload individually. Going to try and combine and just make one video with all the clips running continuously. Historically I have not gotten along with YouTube editor. Will post up once I figure it out.

There are two "good ones" that have survived all but the last 3 weeks of bow season so far. I bet this guy got shot at a couple times.
    IMAG1479.jpg

There are 5 bucks and 3-5 does coming regularly. 2 bucks, including above are "shooters".

Dang!! what's that an easy 24" spread...28" maybe? That's crazy. Huge body too.

Our deer season has been over almost 2 weeks here.

Still trying to figure things out.

Here are a couple short clips of some bucks.

    Night time

Cam is set to lower resolution for more capacity. The full HD videos are very good quality, but take lots of space and more batteries.

A week of activity at the stream crossing. There is electric fence on both sides of the stream, so when the gates are left open there is a fair bit of activity. I didn't bother to put the 100's of turkey pics or a few fuzzy bigger games ones, but here are: Turkeys, Coyote, Deer, Skunk, Crow, and Fox. (I had several partial pictures of the skunk, and we've been smelling it at the barn.)

I too prefer the videos and have not taken still shots for many years now.

btw, some asked about the Browning and the Strike Force is still made. It's almost twin is the Dark-Ops and that is what we have, along with a couple others.

Also for those who buy cameras or will be buying, I've had good luck buying from www.trailcampro.com In addition to the price and service, they automatically extend the warranty by a year. They also give reviews but like all, they still are a bit biased. And it matters who you talk too as they don't all agree. So take the reviews with a grain of salt.

I can't remember he site, if it still exists but it was something like trailcamreviews.com or something like that. Don't just type that in Google it or similar and see what comes up. But they had like every trail cam and has standardized tests where they had deer decoys out every like 10 feet so you could see at night how they showed up at each distance. Had a sensitivity test, listed trigger times, and all the specs like, video, burst mode , delays, etc.

It was a really good site but it has been 5 years or so since I messed around on it (if it still is around), it also had some reviews to read as well.

You may be thinking of the chasinggame site/ forum

Ive been away from there for years also, but last I checked, it was pretty much a ghost town. It was a good informational site when dudes were building homebrews from old digital cameras, adding slave flashes, etc. Maybe it's still a thing, but seems like it's been years since I've even heard of a soul using a homebrew or even mention control boards and such.
