With the kindling I use (kiln dryed scraps from wooden craft/candle holders) I don't really NEED firestarters but I WANT them. :D

Anybody know how to get some s/c's up here in ontario? I don't believe they can be shipped over the border.

I always encourage independence, and especially if you have kids making fire starters can be allot of fun. You can buy some of the other ones if you want. Fatwood works, the nugget starters work, the fire squares work. I have tried them all. But do yourself a favor and order some Super Ceders. They do work the best and make starting a fire stupid easy.

As I understand it, any flammible, fuel-type items cannot be shipped across the border

Well that stinks. I guess I never even thought about them classified like that. I'm use to liquid fuels and explosives being a problem but didn't think SC would fall in that problem. I not planning on crossing the boarder in the near future but I will try to keep it in mind if I do.

ordered the 100 pack of super c for the first time last month, fast shipping. I still use kindling (split up pallets) and 1/8 of a super c instead of tinder helps warm up stove faster
