    Hello
The storm is here and extreme cold after it!
My Shop stove’s Distribution Blower is louder when turned up all the way to high. A new one maybe a little quieter. No need to replace it right away. Just good to have a spare in case.

Do you have any noisy bearings or squeaky augers or auger motors?

I certainly do have a loud auger. Girlfriend thinks the stove is haunted.

First thing I would do is pull the auger and buff it out with a wire wheel on a drill driver.

I have to give the 52i a rest and use the oil burner so the pipes in a couple of spots don't freeze. I have experience with this - twice!!

I know I'm going to jinx myself, I just know it....but so far everything has been running like it should. The only thing I have done is increase the temp settings to #4 out of 5. I have never run this stove on high since I owned it. I may try it tomorrow.

We have the FHA oil furnace thermostat turned up to 70F, so it will cycle every 45 min/hour to keep the downstairs heated to 38-40F. Still running 1.8 lb/hr on the little stove here, everyone's warm & comfy.

Wind is steady 15-20 MPH, had to dial down the Combustion blower RPM 5%: was loosing 25-30F of heat output from the Heat Exchange tubes (173F vs. 205F), as measured earlier today.

Have a safe evening, stay warm all.
