I'm ok with just snow, the wind & possible loss of power WITH SINGLE DIGIT HIGHS scares the chit out of me. DSCN9277.JPG

Picked up my $600/week back up plan this afternoon.

I know, and I'm so "tight", I squeak when I walk. If the power doesn't go out, I may have to take the rifle up to the (elec. lines) road:whistle:

One time a couple years ago I fell asleep while burning down coals in the owb. Never did the overnight reload, on what turned out to actually be the coldest night in the coldest month (Feb '15) in Massachusetts recorded history. Woke up to 46 inside, took all day burning to get the house back into the 60s. Talk about feeling like a tool. No more of those mistakes - now I set an alarm to remind me to reload before bed! So we're ready for the next cold snap: plenty of wood, and an alarm!
