The big area between the Capitol building and the Washington monument. Most of the museums are around the perimeter. What you see in the crowd size inauguration pictures!

Awesome big full moon in the sky this morning. Clear morning just above freezing. Laundry going outside today. Several more chores to be done as well. It is going to be a nice day for a walk.

I was a bit hesitant when we went to the National Mall but we had no problems.

Dave, do a search in Google Earth. The "mall" is really a huge open area surrounded by museums and the capitol building on one end and the monument on the other. So not really a mall like most think of.

I was hoping to see the moon for two mornings in a row, but the skies were filled with snow clouds dumping on us!

Only need a basic thermostat to use the ThermGuard - it's just two wires hooked in tandem (my thermgaurd actually just dangles off the 1960's dial thermostat in the living room) and it overrides the thermostat at whatever interval/time duration you program it for. It works well for my single zone.

I'll get off my soapbox now :BrianK: and let yo run your house the way you wan to run it :D

Similar at our previous home, one zone with a tee and two returns in it for the 2200sqft main floor (walk out basement), thermostat was in the stove room but we had pipes kiddie corner on the opposite side of the house that had froze previously. We had to crank the thermostat on the boiler up every several hours to above the stove room temp (while the stove was choochin') to kick on the system and circulate some water. Not convenient but it worked.

We use it all over the state for farms because it can freeze and not burst. The stuff is great!

I redid all of our plumbing with it and so far it’s been great! Nothing but good to say about PEX
