Still having the cowling on wouldn't impede its performance.
And, the power head would stand a chance of lasting.

If there's no fins on the flywheel would it cool better without it? Not that it runs long enough to overheat.

It’s built to race. Make three quick cuts then turned off.

Granite view sports, delta. $145. I have about 3 hours in them. Really like them, most comfortable boot ever, more than Mindles.

Ok , I'll relent. Just that the 3120 has a near and dear place for me. Fell my biggest volume Sitka Spruce with my 3120.

    A friends 3120.

    Yours truly running it.
An old work saw that has milled many thousands of board feet of lumber and fell and bucked lots of timber. Trying to clear up a spruce log that became bridge planking.
Chain had been in a little grit by this cut.

3120 will pull a 6 foot bar just fine but does Real good with a 5 foot. That 36" barely gets it warmed up.

That's a good grinder. I had one for a while. Traded it for a Whitworth Express 375 H+H.
Used a couple others. Wish Silvey still made them .
A broke motor just totally Sucks.
Seems there should be some old ones for sale on the west coast of BC. Save the border tariff.

Give Walkers in b.c. a call. Used will be your only option. Could be good time to cut your loss, buy new simington.

IMO unless you know the history or owner of a rs2 or swing arm, stay clear!
