It's 41 today so I hit the trails on the sled for about 10 miles (left the camera behind) boy was it nice, can spring be around the corner.

 

Very nice out today. I skipped cutting wood because of the new snow. Picked up parents garbage and took theirs and ours to the transfer station. Then hauled some wood inside to get us through the weekend. Will be too busy to being doing that the next few days. Filled the pellet stove at the camp. Went grocery shopping for the wife while she was still at work. Went for a 2-1/2 mile walk on our road late this afternoon. Nice temperatures, but the wind made it a little chili. Walk faster that way though. Then did a quick work-out with the weights to finish the day off just before supper. Supper tonight was a chef salad of Iceburg lettuce, green leaf lettuce, Turkey, Ham, red onion, celery, carrots, cucumbers, Swiss cheese, NY sharp cheese, hard boiled eggs, walnut pieces, granny smith apple pieces, sunflower seeds, crumbly blue cheese.
Mmmmm-chef salad. Dessert for me is Michelob Light for the SU game. Mmmmm-beer.

 

Got the Myriad home safe and sound, setting it up tomorrow.

 

Snow we got Weds & Thurs ended up at about 10" with a little rain at the start. Got over a 24" base now. Headed down in the woods today to re-pack trails and pick out a couple more ash to drop, along with packing a solid trail down to the big oak I want. Giz likes being lead dog up in the front box… so we'll prolly just enjoy puttin round on the beast…

 

By the time I realized i didn't take a before pic, i had already started cutting the carpet. So i got one about with a few strips of carpet ripped up. I'll post pics up in the DIY section when it's finished.

We got all the base molding pulled carefully last night (plaster walls ) and this morning im gonna lay the plywood underlayment. Maybe even finish laying the floor if the nice weather doesn't pull me outside to split some wood.

Woke up today with on heck of a headache. I think its from all the driving yesterday. Pancake breakfast up town, then installing the Drolet.

If you call having a pancake breakfast "up town" and then installing a new wood stove "pain", I will like that for you every time. That other thing you mentioned is incidental.

 

I'm thinking about ordering a pickeroon and cant hook from northern tool....and the treat...a gran fors bruks (spelling?) or wetterlings splitting axe. good for a lifetime there.
