Floating electricity is a cool idea though. Technology is crazy right now. Jumping leaps and bounds. Even in the stove world.
Cool vid. I'm more interested tho in super-conductor tech that has a ways to go still. They'll get it eventually, and in a way that keeps the expense down. Imagine the monster power grid cables feeding cities like NY and Chicago… being one-two cables the size of your finger instead of hundreds the size of your arm. And, being able to run that cable hundreds of miles with no voltage drop. How about 50 hp elec motors the size of your fist? Super-conductors would almost single handedly solve the work's power needs by the incredible efficiency it would allow in thousands of every day applications. Maybe have as much of an effect as electricity does itself. All they got to do is figure out how to do it in normal op temps… not 100 degrees, or so, below zero in a lab.
I saw a report from a Canadian news station the other day that said many Canadian's natural gas prices may rise as much as 40% in price. WTF? There is more of it now than there ever was and the price is going up?
