Eating a Mexican-style lunch while semi-watching the Pats game . Half a can of red frijoles with cut up breakfast sausage links in it. Heated up then cream cheese and salsa mixed in. I'd take a picture but it really looks like a dog barfed up its kibble . Tastes much better (I assume since I've never ventured to taste the pre-loved kibble). Went outside and decided I didn't need to do anything like go to the grocery store. It did make 10* but the wind is horrible. Sun is shining in the windows and that pellet stoves are keeping it warm in here. Think I'll just veg for the rest of the day.
That will be a lot more average when the garage shuts off. Just too much "freezable" stuff in there for these temps.... Dan
Heard on the news yesterday that people should remember to shut their garage doors to conserve heat in their house (attached garages obviously). I was dismayed by the fact that there are people out there that NEED to be told that .
You are correct, I did not rule it out Hey, haven't done so yet but I'll tell you that there were times that I bought some specialty dog biscuits that smelled mighty good and I thought about doing a taste test. Also some canned dog food smells like a good beef stew. Canned cat food, not so much - maybe it just needs ketchup? Eh, I'll report back if I ever get that desperate. Well, no I won't because at that point I won't have anything to pay the cable bill with.
Half the laws on the books and label on products are because some people have to be told everything. Like the guy who sued the company that made his motorhome when he wrecked it after putting on the cruise control and then going to make a cup of coffee. He thought it would stay on the road all by itself. He won. by the way.
Getting back on track, surprisingly I only burned 45 bags in December. I thought for sure I would be over 60. My Blazer stash took a big hit. I definitely need to buy another ton soon. Only have 54 Blazers, 43 decent pellets and 11 bags of ash left. I see a ton of MWP in the near future.
58 for me and 24hr of oil and about a bag of corn, it's minus 31*C as we speak and calling for -35*C tonight Note; my temp gizmo is frozen on the bottom of my page so disregard Happy New Year
December was a cold month here: (33) bags of Satisfaction pellets, (1) bag of CleanFire Pacific = 34 bags. 82 bags, or 1.64 tons to-date. * Had to use the calculator to add / divide again. Need more Pellets. Got Beer. Stay warm everyone.
How much oil did you burn along with that. IIRC you run your boiler to keep pipes from freezing below?
