For any of you diesel guys,Go to your local oreilly auto parts, they are closing out the FPPF Melt Down,$1.39,they might even have some in warehouse. Is great stuff,I keep a bottle in winter truck,in case of finding someone broke down on the road.

Chevy.....don't need to work on it. Have a lift for when it needs a service. But yes the warm floor is nice, that's the reason I went all radiant here. Only thing is the frozen sand dripping off vehicles and baking onto the concrete comes up a little hard.

Glad you got it running and the hairdryer worked! Started the tractor up this AM and it was about 5F. She didnt like it for about 30 seconds, but then ran smooth as butter.

Let me know how that works out. I have 500 acres if it pans out I can put a lot of horses on.

Those are the few leaves that I wouldn't mind raking and cleaning up.

Flashback for me. We had friends in Maine with a large beef herd. The deads were taken down over a hill to a tree by a gulley - it was known as the money tree.

Our period of horse ownership came in the earlier years, when money was quite tight. I think the connection to money makes such an impression because of just how crazy/extravagant some people with more money than sense can be. The people that drive by in the fancy car to their vacation home don’t make an impression on me, but I do gawk at the custom truck pulling the custom trailer, maybe because I know what that rig costs compared to my 1979 trailer and secondhand truck.

Back closer to on-topic, the waterline to my dishwasher “gelled” overnight, and I’m beginning to wish I’d left snow up in the barnyard where the water lines run (no problems yet, but if they go it will be very bad).

Two days ago I started the tractor after running the block heater for an hour and it started but wasn’t happy. Yesterday I ran the heater for 3 hours and it started smoothly.

Cooked on the grill last night. Knobs would barely turn, burgers took forever, but it was a nice slow cook

I had a diesel truck and tractor a few years back. I didn’t want to leave them plugged all the time nor did I want to get up plug them in and go back to bed so I hard wired a plug with a timer. Worked great turned on a few hours before start up and off on its own. Nice little project for a morning when it’s warmer

The one car battery needed charging and my atv really struggled starting. Time for a battery tender.
