Tom, do you have a wood box or opened up 55 gal drum. ? At around 35 below mine shuts itself off due to too much cold air going over the fan and temp sensor. So I put it in a box . it sucks back a bit of warm air and works fine . So far down to 55 below. How many heaters do u have on it. On my 7.3 I run 100 watts on the tranny pan pad. 150 on the oil pan, 450 watt frost plug heaters on each side of the block and a trickle charger on the batteries. As long as the glow plugs were working it would fire off pretty good.
Morning, thought it was supposed to warm up, had to get up and fill the beast with wood, I didn't give it a twenty below zero load last night. She held up pretty good considering. How are you holding up down there Brian?
I have never drank the Kool-aid from any manufacturer. I always have been the guy to try a little bit of everything for myself. And then makeup my own mind.
