Hahaaahaaaaaaa good job on da mink buddy. You think you used big enough traps. I got to show my trapper buddy this pic, he'll get a kick out of it. Did the little bastid just eat the heads off? Somthing kilt wifies chickins a time or 2 never figured out what it was though. Trapper friend was guessing a mink though.

Way to get it done! I’m liking the bear trap with just the feet in it   last time we had trouble it was a mink I’m pretty sure. Just gnawed the heads and they got sort of webbed feet. Ended up getting two inside the coop at around 6’ with the .17HMR put the cross hairs between the glowing beady eyes in the flashlight beam

Always hated having to do away with wild life, but some times you just have to or face loosing your crops and animals. It has always been this way. When I had chickens, it was the coons getting into them.

Never seen one of them critters... do they attack solo or group?

but your title got my attention... sorry to hear about your losses... I thought loosing 3 or 4 in a couple of days was bad...

Mink are all around here, I used to trap them. They're mostly around rivers and streams.

Yep, same here. I once had one sneak a few walleyes I had caught from my fish box on the dock. It even figured out how to open the latch. Crazy guy.

We had a coyote come in the yard and take some chickens in the middle of the day! Luckily I keep a rifle handy ended his chicken killing days.
