Keep warm neighbor. You guys are about what...600- 700km south east of us here in Edmonton as the crow flies ? Something like that ? Are you getting any of this ? -45C wind chills (-49F for our American cousins).....dang...I think I'm going to be sleeping on the stove by morning. LOL.

I was in Edmonton for Metallica and GNR this summer,,,, good times for sure! I think its about 6.5 hours from us here. Ive been on the west coast for the last week or so which means I missed the -28c weather that was in our area. Looks like it will warm up in a few days to -15-20c which is alright by me!

I've been off work since the 22nd, and I'm starting to get cabin fever. I really want to get out and do some chainsaw milling before I go back to work on the 8th. Here's hoping they're right about the mid week forecast getting a lot closer to the freezing mark. :)

This thermometer is actually working. Temperatures have been very similar last few nights.

Large Pine and Ash splits in the boiler right now.

Yeah, but it warmed up to -14 Gas.
Don't know if we got down to 4, but it's 5 OAT right now. Woke up at 6 and the IAT was still 70.
I think that must be a new record for this house. Furnace didn't kick on all night, or I would have heard it.
We're looking to hit 12 today, but overnight temps are gonna be below zero for a few more days.

Current temp on this Saturday morning -21°F and we'll finally see above 0 temps for the first time in awhile..... 10°F, but this will be short lived with winds arriving tonight.

-15 now headed for -17 around sun up. Looking at -6 for the high. Furnace is doing a little work while coals are burning down this am. Will load it with the same red oak as the last 10 days. Hoping to keep the furnace at bay but we'll see.... Heating 3100 sq ft from an unfinished, insulated only, basement is a challenge when temps dip below the 0 mark.

Too many weather related threads...posted in the wrong one!

-12 and snowing; not hard just snowing and windy. Feels like -37 right now.

Thought I'd shovel the path while I fired up the OWB and felt my ears going....only had a ball cap on. oops! Cut the shoveling short!

14 this morning, gonna drop to -2 tonight. For few inches of snow yesterday, IDOT did a great job cleaning the hiway.
Hedgeapple, locust, hickory in the owb.
    Be safe out there.

It's 18* outside and it feels warm. It's funny how you get used to the single digits and a slight warm up really helps. Ash and hackberry got called up this morning with cherry warming the bench.
