I hope he gets pictures of every different animal you have on the property. My 5 year old daughter loves to check the cams with me and see what’s lurking in the forest.
I have been slacking as far as adding to this thread. I have one cam still out at a salt lick, but have not checked it for 6 weeks or more. Will be starting feeding regimen soon, so should have some more to share. Also received a new Cam for Christmas. Seems to be pretty high tech. No red glow, view screen built in. I really like the Browning cams. This makes three that I have now. Planning to use the new one for two legged game as it has no visible red glow or flash. Saw a great video using actual slabs of real bark to make a fascia that renders them basically invisible. Will report back once the corn starts flowing.
Had an all black lighted infrared or whatever for work. A contractor decided they needed it more than me at office. It was like a $600 camera. Had to fill out some paperwork on that one!!! I had never thought of making a cover for the front tobhide it. Sure at night there invisible basically but i was always like in the daytime theh just have to look over and see the camera on the tree. There pretty obvious in the woods
Uugghh certified letter time with a no trespass warning... When I bought this farm, I was brush hogging the logging roads... She came running up to me from her house, asking if I was the new owner... She wanted permission to keep walking her dog as the previous owner gave her. I told her yes, but with the disclaimer that not from mid august until mid feb as it was purchased with hunting as the main goal... Give an inch, she took a foot... I will be sure to include the trailcam photo, though it doesnt show her face, no one walks their dogs around here, we just open the door and let them back in when they bark... No fences, no houses... My property line is literally 10' from her house. I was polite and didnt put up No trespassing signs in that area or paint the trees blue.... I wouldnt want to see that myself... Everywhere else is posted as my insurance company required... I hate being a butt head, but shes requiring it.
Shes even bold enough to shoot you a peace sign. Send the letter. Tell her the next one will be a ticket. Then go post her side of your property. Who cares if she doesnt wanna look at the signs. Your Insurance company doesnt care how unsightly they are.
No, I've been watching him all year grow, water froze over and he never moved. There was nothing left to him. He just croaked and fell off the roost.
Deer are yarding up behind the house. We always get some great pictures this time of the year. Someone’s been sniffing around my treestand.
Love the doe pics, I got a color trailcam for Christmas that I just set up. This is a phone pic of a paused video I got last week- the doe is flat-out missing the lower half of her left front leg. It doesn't look injured, and she "walks" on it like it's just a short leg, not hobbling along on three legs. Not sure if an old injury or from birth. She's not this year's fawn, at least 1 1/2 years old. Second pic isn't trailcam, but I thought it was cool. It's a spot where crows are landing looking for food I guess, I liked the wingmarks in the snow...
After watching this video I ordered a couple of these Bresser cameras from Wal-Mart in the US. The cameras were $25/each or $35 with a 64Gb micro SD card. Those cards alone cost us $35+ here in Canada, so essentially I got the cameras for free Hard to find a camera for under $100 here in Canada.
