No one wants to void the warranty. Well some of us do. I dumped a 100k warranty by open the motor and giving it good parts. And putting a tuner on both the FICM and ECM then putting a lock on the OBDII
lol that's why she didn't allow him to do it He went to dodge after that truck and the one he has now has a programmer and def deleted and straight exhaust
I am my warranty, the motor we spent the summer building is 700hp+ I did all the things that the engineers wanted to do, but wernt allowed. If he bought it used then the person that owned it first did.
Well then, I have never heard of issues like that. This is what happens in a global economy. People with high quality @ walmart pricing. When they started producing parts in countries without running water, what did they think would happen.
Those 2 engines are good, no doubt and they were fortunate to run the series long enough to work the bugs out of and they were from the pre heavy handed EPA. I have run cummins, internation, and duramax. I keep up on maintenance I have had no issues they have all been great motors. I think most of the people with issues, are the likely culprits of said issues. Of course there are always premature part failures. As most things in life those that take care of their things have less issues than those that abuse them.
Had he done that on the other it may not have had the issues. but who knows, sometimes things just break.
Not too bad. Just lit the wood stove. Hafta go brave the cold for a little while and do some chores. Did you get that 064 together?
