It is a balmy 2 f this morning on the south side of Lake Ontario. Looking at the temps you guys are posting makes me feel better about where I live!
-13, -14, or -134, it doesn’t matter. I am not going anywhere near there. Nope, I am staying right here and enjoying 2 and looking forward to 3!
Why did I even look! This is my forecast for the New Years weekend . There isn't any party good enough to get my kranky old posterior out in this coming cold.
Been near zero the past several mornings, you'd never know it inside the house though....it hasn't dropped much below 80° inside, and I have both stoves set to the bare minimum (I call it low idle ) I didn't realize you had this thread going, bogydave...I started one similar in the EPA Stove Room....lol Stay warm, buddy....our friends up in NY, VT, NH, ME, MI, MN, WY and Ontario have it much worse than we do......
-6 @ 5 this morning 9 now. My azzhat dog decided to bolt out of my truck last nite when I loaded my dads OWB for the nite. She camped out . Not the first time . Doubt she learned anything !!!
Saw a forecast that the N, Lower 48, the cold temps to last a couple weeks. Bring in the good wood Gonna warm up here to the 20°s with chance of snow . No sub-zero temps here, but close Low of 1°F , high of 8°
Shows you are in single digits° too. Real Winter temps°. Suppose to last a couple weeks. Need the good wood (all you wood is “good wood”) Does the tractor help get the wood from the barn to the house?
We're actually at 12 now. A heat wave! It was funny watching the temperature when we went to the hospital this morning. Inside the barn it was 2 degrees. Outside at the time was -8. Within the first 5 miles the temperature rose to -3. Wife said that was because we were driving south at the time... But it really is not bad out there especially because there is very little wind. Only got wood from the barn once so far this winter and used atv with trailer. Will have to get more in the next couple days so might start the tractor as it is good to get it warmed up and make sure the battery is kept up. I could put the trickle charger on but the way we have it in the barn it is a bit difficult to get the charger on. I still like starting the tractor every couple weeks or so.
