I really don't mind how many bags of pellets get burned so long as the house is toasty warm. It is and so is the porch. When I come in from the cold, I especially like the radiating heat. Love my stove.

Subbie, the one ton I have been burning are left over from last year and considered my shoulder pellet. That being said, the ash is high but heat is good and they were a cheaper option to LaCrete which I had plenty of on hand.

My honey used Crabbe last year and again this year with no issues but she isnt fussy. Next year will likely go back to MWP for my shoulder stuff especially if they are cheaper than Crabbe. Crabbe are not on the level of LaCrete but they work fine with more ash.

Still have burned only about a half ton up to this point but the 802's went in yesterday and those are burning with much less ash than Crabbe and heat is almost LaCrete level. Checked the hopper this morning and didnt use as much as expected, so they are working out great so far :)

Poop luck. I have a couple on my order list that did that and then there was the big one that didn't even come close. I still haven't gone for a replacement yet. Larry got his before I did.

Well, haven't done a "review" on the heated mattress pad, so here goes. It arrived last week, but I didn't put it on until last night, seeing the cold temps we were expecting. (got down to 1* overnight)
Install on the bed was straight forward, but I put it on reverse....the control plugs are up near the pillows now. Did the 1 hour "pre-heat at about 10:30 last night, and then switched it to "sleep" mode.....that puts the heat setting on 1/9 all night. Well, all I can say is....WOW. I already love this thing. I had the best sleep I've had in quite a while. No cold toes.....didn't have to wear socks to bed. So, after 1 night, I'm loving it!!!

Latest X-Mas gift....Power Air Fryer. Guys at work rave about them, I mentioned it to my kids, and voila! Made some onion rings just now. From frozen to crispy 10 min. Next time, i'm going to lightly spray mist w/ canola oil.....the sprayer even came w/ it.

Plop plop, fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is, last Saturday I cut the 5mg amLODipine down from 5mg to 2.5 mg which was a no go so after 2 days I went back to 5mg it will be better than 10 days before I'm back but everything is going fine, wanted to stay on 2.5 to get rid of the wozzies, let my whizzer assume full control now there are no dry wake up calls between 2 and 3 a.m. and cut the Lipitor down to 40mg from 80mg.

LW the half life on the whizzing pill is 14 to 15 hours so it takes a bit of time to leave the system.
