Intake charge is still the intake charge. Air going into the exhaust doesn't really change that aspect, or how the carbs function. It takes velocity to pull fuel.

I haven't played with to many but the strato air normally goes through a different path & not the carb on most. On ones that go through the carb the venturi is larger to make up for the additional airflow, i/e 372xt.

Yep, here too. Supposed to be mid to low 20's for a good 2 weeks (sorry Tom, I know that's a hot spell for you).
Doin' good. Feeding the fire like crazy but that's ok. I've got a good stash to lean on. Need to get off my lazy bum and make a farwood for sale sign.

I'm still studying that chain pic Shawn posted! Looks so darn clean and tidy.
    How bout you?

Even that's the same thing, only different look, air is separated through channels in the intake tract and through the carburetor itself. So only a fraction is being charged with fuel and the remaining fresh air charge gets channeled through to the exhaust to "make it cleaner". The actual intake to the crankcase is much smaller on the xt compared to the xp, and still does the same job(roughly).

I bucked a bucket load with the 461 and square ground (new grinder) chain that I got from Dallas. After cutting a few cookies warming up that saw runs like a banshee. I looked in amazement at how fast and fun making cookies, pile is saw dust was building quickly. The chips are nice I felt like I was a chainsaw wielding rock star. The chain is smooth and feeds well, an hour ago o thought my square file was awesome, it sucks. Dallas’ chain is bad azzz.
