Random Picture Thread!

So... Here we go, another picture thread that can easily be satisfying and comical.


So, you were driving to the store and saw something funny, took a picture? Post it here.
Didnt have to be something funny though.. Maybe you saw a sweet car you wished you
could own, or you came upon a beautiful sunset on the way out to Grannies for Sunday
dinner with the family..



I'll start things off with a few pictures, a few short explanations and what not for examples.

Picture from 2 summers ago, took the jeep out. Cant remember which one of my friends snapped this picture, but its a good one.



My Wife and I, Girlfriend at the time, some 6+ years ago.
Parents had a lake house... Errrr mobile home in a camp ground on a lake about an hour south.
They sold it out from under us.... Nice. This is My love and our deeply missed lab.

 

I made the front page of the paper awhile back, and was on the news for 2 days... What an experience.
This is a piece of mail i received, came from a state senator. I guess the story made national news or somethin as i was receiving mail from Oregon, Maine, freakin carolinas, Florida, Texas... It was a wild ordeal.
I received thank you letters, cards, gift cards and gifts from all over the country.

What had happened was...
Neighbors to my west went on a cruise, house caught on fire.
They have a bunch of pets.. 8 dogs and 1 big azzzz bird.
I kicked down the front door and saved every one of them.
Called 911, entered the house, when the cops/firefighters arrived i think i had 3 left.

 

I bet your coworkers are grateful to be able to work with a great guy like you!

Some of the things I did this year. The first pic is my new truck that I did a bunch of customizing to. I’m 52 and this the first truck I’ve ever customized.

A few years back my buddy, his wife and I out for a Sunday ride in the spring stopped by a local watering hole and snapped a pic of our scoots................................

After my parents sold the lake house out from under us...
Wife and i felt adventurous and bought a camper on the same lake, in a different campground
that had been set up for about 9 years. Well, that lasted about 3 months and then we took off
on a road trip to find us a newer camper. Ended up picking up a 28' Jayco Designer, 1 owner, 99 year.
Thing was spotless.

Only kept it for one season before selling it and giving up the camping spot.

Wanting a 38-44' park model camper...


This is a picture of the Jayco shortly after buying it, just before taking it down
to the lake and swapping it out with the old 93 crap camper.
