 They're ravenous here G, I got chased away from the feeder as soon as it was filled. :vulture:
Poor squirrel better wait to they're done, he doesn't stand a chance. o_O

I hope everyone had a great Christmas Day yesterday - Bestsy and the ladies made a spectacular meal, then I took the Intrigue into work to change the Water Pump / make the repair. * Was going to do Sunday evening, but the ladies collectively asked that I not have the vehicle out in the weather -> the snow we got. And we did get a lot. Smart ladies.

The repair last night went about as well as I had hoped, no surprises: just a lot of hours collectively. An hour to warm up the service bay / defrost the ice of the vehicle / cool down the motor, another hour to remove parts to expose the water pump, another hour to remove and scrape off old gasket, another hour to install & let the RTV setup, another 2 hours finishing / filling bleeding air from the system, cleaning up the trail of tool destruction left behind ... you get the idea. But it's done, rolled back home around midnight / this morning.

Natalie had to work today - she drove the Intrigue in, I rode shotgun. She did great, she's good to go for driving this vehicle. Or trading it in a new vehicle if she wants to - it's her choice.

Time to get my tired pellet roasting butt back on the Englander stove install - it's very chilly in the workshop / front room, running an electric radiator heater out there for the moment, the "meter is spinning", so to speak. (It's a digital meter now),

No rest for the weary (and sore, forgot how much fun leaning over a fender for hours can be.), dashing through the s..w for work later.

Have an excellent day all.

    Damm cold here....

I bought beer a few days ago and put it in the garage to make room in the fridge for leftovers. Decided to crack one a few minutes ago. A beer slushie erupted from the can when I opened it.

Guess I shouldn’t store beer in the garage when highs are in the single digits.....

Balmy in the backyard. -7.5, and it’s only 7:30 PM.

The Fahrenheit is stretching its legs a bit in these temps. It can maintain 68 OK, but it has a big appetite doing it.

Here in Southern NH, we won't have as bad. Highs in the teens and lows near 0. I just passed the halfway mark on my first ton of Vermonts. Got one more and I don't expect to use much more than half of that. If I do, it was a cold winter. I have never burned two tons in a winter since 2008. Right now it's 14 out, 67 in the house with the Baby on heat setting 3. Thermostat is cycling. I show 205 degree air out of my heat exchanger. The new high capacity combustion blower I got from Don is making all the difference. Much better combustion and much longer run time between cleanings. Bring on the cold...but not for too long!

There is a reason I've stayed 1600 miles away from them even after the divorce. Love them, and now the love me, but we try each other's patience (which no one in my family has).

My part of southern NH is going to be dang cold when I get back tomorrow night. Hope my pellet stoves are being well fed by the pet sitter! Won't be fun snow blowing in that either.

    Same here.

Weather sticky says crud on Saturday. WMUR is saying the cold will keep it south but we may get the northern tip of it but not much.
Track record this year has gone to the sticky where WMUR has tracked towards what the sticky says the closer we got to the day in question. Not liking these odds for Saturday
