There are those who get up Christmas morning, dive under the tree and frantically open presents..... and then, there is me.

First 2 hours of the day moving trash to one easily accessible pile.

Also cleaned MAF and throttle body on the 2010 Aveo.....much different removal process than the Ford trucks I'm used to dealing with..... little sucker only has 34, 096 miles......

    Oh yeah, merry Christmas everyone.

Cold is setting in here...single digit lows and highs in the teens for the next few days. Lit the propane boiler tonight since the north wind is supposed to be blowing. The stove has trouble keeping up when the wind is blowing and temps get below 10.

You have pics that Photobucket isn't holding for ransom? That site really irritates me. Holding our pictures ransom and unviewable. :headbang:

yooperdave , I found a killer deal on Decoy Pinot noir. $15 for a $25 bottle of wine. It's so tasty.

Sitting here in front of my stove, it's 4° degrees out. Stove's a choochin' on locust, elm, and an apple split.

lukem at temps like this, my furnace kicks in too. Thermostat is set at 67° I've gotten better at burning in my Quadrafire, so the furnace doesn't go often, and not for very long. So it's no biggie. It's actually comforting to know that my pipes are not in danger of freezing.

Santa was good to me. I'll see if we have a thread to post up on.

Nah, after dinner the wife and I talked for a little while. She went upstairs never to be seen again, and I attempted to watch something on TV but just passed out from exhaustion and triptophan

The little kicker stove I lit off last night in the basement still has enough useful coals to re-kindle a fire! How about that? I set the air down pretty low last night and walked away form it. Just wanted to empty the ashes this morning before I started making it work for a living.

Gonna head out to the cottage garage this morning and check things out. Coldest day if the year....

    Good coffee now.

Horkn you would've had a laugh on me last week....I had a sip of wine! Don't know if I did it right or not.....couldn't remember if my pinky finger was in the air as I raised the wine glass (99's).....can't even remember if I held the glass by the stem or the bowl......there's just way too many rules for drinking it, you know?

Good morning, 12 to 16 and I believe that 16 will be the hi until Thursday.
Coffee is on and I rectum getting dressed and checking the OWB is next on the to do list.
I had a swill and swaller of Honey Turkey last evening while feeding the hungry beast out back, slept very well!

Found a couple bottles of Spatlese from the area where I was stationed in Germany, very surprising and most pleased to find it around these parts. (The big city is the only place I've ever found it)
I bought the only 4 bottles they had..
