I went to Painted Hills -- so I was within striking distance of John Day. Of course, I didn't own a stove then and noticing a compressed log manufacturing plant may have escaped me.
Painted hills is about 75 miles from john day. The mill in john day markets their fire logs under 4 or 5 brand names. I do believe they are a supplier for the idaho logs.
