Made a quick random video last night.

 

1. Wow I guess cause its a small stove and space it will not use much wood? One of those totes would not even load my stove one time I dont think? And that would give me between 8-24 hours depending upon how hard I run the stove.

 

2 usable cubic feet. Not a large stove by any means. 3.0 feet is about the cut-off for a large stove.

I have more wood outside. Once I get hot coals, I can put anything on it and it will burn fine. I just don't like trying to start a fire with wet snowy wood although that load was wet this morning and didn't take-off really well. I was fooling for a while today before the heat was built up. I'm at 77.9 in the office now.

 

Well mine is 3.5

 

That is large..especially where it's a warmer climate.

 

It sits in my 2500sqft one level home, We dont use the 500 upstairs at all . On cold nights we use every cubic foot and it can't keep up to heat about 1500. No one used insulation down here since fuel oil was so cheap 40-50 years ago.

 

That makes sense. I just think of South Carolina as a very mild climate, but then again...I've been in Atlanta in January, and while it wasn't extremely cold, it wasn't warm either.

 

Were exact same climate and topography as ATL. They may be a few degrees colder but not much sometimes cause their elevation is a bit higher than me.

The ice in ago was worse than where I am cause they were a few degrees colder. But also those storms were different we go cold before the rain came so it was mostly snow over us where they got freeze rain.​

 

Looks great to me. I think you are reacting to the Tubes being down.

I would like if other people post a video of their set-ups or whatever they want to share. Would give a good idea of their application when giving advice.

 

FC- Got an alternative title, maybe a better description before I share this with everyone?

 

We could call this Hearthstone Heritage Install. I just like the idea that we could see others' set-up's too.

 

So do I. Just wanted to give it a better title before I publish it to a wider audience. Want to give any details in the subscription?
