Well we finally found and purchased a processor. It’s been a long road looking and finally purchasing one. Today we took a 6 hour round trip to pick one up.

Built-Rite 18SCP-D and a 20ft conveyor. The processor has a 35hp Kubota diesel on it and the conveyor has a 5hp Honda. It also has the multiwedge system. Hydraulically adjustable 4-way and 6-way. 4 on bottom and 6 on top. I’ll snap some pictures of how that’s setup later. And finally it came with the deck and feed trough extension to handle up to 20ft wood.

I only have a couple pictures for now. More to come after Christmas.

That is some really nice stuff. I really want a processor, but I don't think I need one.

Those are sweet machines...my brothers buddy bought a new one and brought it over to play with one day, he was there about 8 hours...machine actually running and processing maybe 5 hours...we figured we made about 10 cords...could have made a lot more bit that was all the wood that was either small enough, or straight enough to run through the machine...we get a lot of ugly crap that others can't or don't want to deal with...

That is some really nice equipment. I have a feeling the firewood is going to be cranking out. Congrats.

We set it up quick yesterday when we got home with it. Only ran one log due to daylight.

Looks great. That will save you a lot of time. Did you have a processor before this one?

Oh good - I was a bit worried about what sort of person would bring something so nice as that home without setting it up right away and trying it!

Well so far on this snowy Christmas morning, I tore the carb off the ‘71 Olympique and got her going and then I ran a couple logs through the Built-Rite. Merry Christmas fellow hoarders!!

Now off to the in laws to ride old school snow sleds and some ham supper!
