Sure hope you feel better. Seems that this is the 2nd or 3rd time this season? Odd that you would end up with that sort of condition right around Christmas eve, don't you agree?
Good morning, upper 20's with a weather guess of "up to 3inches of snow by tomolly". Temps gonna fall into the teens. I'm working 0730 to 2200 hours today..and get to clock in tomolly morning @ 0700...It works best for a couple young moms here. Be safe in your travels.
My boss gave me two for my christmas bonus... .... and for some reason I just like the combo of a good cigar and coffee...
True that, this past summer, I would wake up normal (too early for everyone else) and go sit on the patio-watching the sunrise with hot coffee and usually a vintage 90 while on our vacation in Colorado. Had a real good time out there sightseeing and all, but I sure do remember enjoying those mornings and waiting for the rest to wake up and show up one by one. I would watch the sunrise near the Grand Mesa. I'm down to about one a week now.
Slept in this morning. Caffeine going in. I ate lightly for dinner last night so I was ready for breakfast this morning. Eggs with a little sausage, cheese, red and green peppers with a couple toast down already. Time to plug the 3550 in again and get some more snow plowing done.
I did! The last of my meager oak supply is on the porch, along with some locust. This will be my first real test heating with wood.
Chvymn99 a few years back I tried setting up an exhaust fan in the basement so I would be able to enjoy a cigar during the winter. As soon as the furnace blower motor turned on, it overcame the small cfm of the fart fan and spread the cigar smoke smell throughout the house. So ended that attempt....99 lbs running around with the febreeze can and all...overreacting! It was a real enjoyable few minutes there.
Coffee is about done. Gonna have a white Xmas here. 3-5" or so. It just started. One more cup then it's off to mount the plow on the truck and bring in a few days worth of wood. Then up to my buddies shop to fry a turkey for his kids. Ill go run the plow route once all the idiots get off the roads this evening.

Yeah, the guessers changed their minds. We might get an inch of snow today to have a white Christmas. Then I can haul some more wood from my driveway pile to the stacks down below.
It's due to pseudoephedrine being changed over the years because meth was being made from the good old Sudafed.
I work in a germ factory of students and staff. Last time I came down with this was for my Spring Break and it was way worse that time. I am getting better but the real problem is whether I go to Mom's and share with her. We had planned to go over this afternoon as the ferry has a much later run tomorrow. Still haven't decided what to do. Thanks for all the well wishes.
I don't like taking meds either. They mess with my head and last time I think they created my sinus infection. Lots of orange juice and hot tea are my go to meds.
It's snowing now!!! It just started. I really enjoy white Christmases if you can't tell. My wife is from California, and I know she appreciates the white Christmas as well.
Man this stinks! What we find helps is Tea, Ginger, Honey all mixed together that soothes very well. I admit to adding about a tablespoon of whisky when it gets too bad and that does miracles but very very rarely do we do that.
Started down here about an hour ago. My girls are very excited. I hope we get a lot so I can use my new snowblower!
