    Almost pulled the trigger on a new Holland last year, but we decided to wait and do some research. Can't beat the deal Kubota had. It'll be nice to buy implements ill use often and rent those i won't need to many times. Maybe Gasifier can steer me in a good direction for a grapple brand

    Congratulations on the tractor Brian!

    I ended up buying a Mahindra Grapple just because I wanted it all in one finance package. Easier. Then I modified it to fit my needs. (Mahindra’s attachments/this Grapple is made by Paladin Attachments.)

    If I were you I would look into those Wicked grapples. Supposedly lighter, which will leave you more capacity for lifting, and also strong.

    I have never owned one of these, but they look like a good design. Their newest design looks/sounds even better. Maybe ask around TractorByNet.com to see how guys like them.?

    Congrats Well Seasoned !! I am sure you will keep the new tractor busy. Definitely my pick in the 26hP class. Might trade our 38HP in to get one in a couple years of the finances allow:). Always seem to need something more maneuverable.

    I looked at the 33hp in the L series, i really really liked it, beefed up chassis. The only thing lacking was the mid pto and an available 3rd function kit, which could've been custom made. I had concerns with the tier IV requirements, and luckily Canadian border VT has people with first hand mechanical experience explained that the emissions chit has become more stable as the years have progressed. The Kubota B3350 was also a contender, but i decided to go 2650. The 50 series has beefier hydraulics, which is what i want for loader work, mainly lighter material. The loader controls are nice from Kubota as well. They offer float functions, as well as multi bucket movements (lift &tilt simultaneously) , which will help an amateur such as myself.

    I'm already thinking of when i build the woodshed (with the tractors help of course), should i make it tall enough to get the tractor in it so i can double stack the pallet wood storage ill be using now with the forks! :yes:

    Yeah I think for our application smaller is better. The 2650 can handle a round bale on the 3 point without a problem and can probably still stack a 4x4 with the loader. If it can’t I am not too worried about it. I just always seems to be a bit too big with the tight area around our house, barnyard and our forest trails are always so tight even after widening a couple of them a few times. I do really enjoy being able to pick up anything with the loader. In a perfect world I would have a few tractors but that isn’t going happen:). I have a couple years before our larger tractor is paid for so lots of time to see what the trade offs will be.

    R4 are suitable for pushing snow. I have a blower but push at times. Oh course chains will be gooder. Mine is a 2001 has earned its keep.

    Congratulations you will look back a wonder how you got this far.
