another mild week ahead. i think i will plan to do extended napping for sunday and monday i might put on a pot of chilli mac for dinner and supper today and add some ground deer to give it a kick. have a merry christmas ho ho ho.
might have to cut the bar oil with a little kerosene or diesel to get it to flow after seeing your temps.
I use synthetic arctic bar oil it flows at -57*, haven’t used it when it’s colder so don’t know how cold it will flow to.

Slow process, had to cut some wood, make a fire, melt snow in a perculator to boile water then wait 10 minuets to eat.

Well I have over half a 3 year old cow mooses quarters, rib , strap and liver in game bags in the back of the van. Its been stuck at 27 below all evening and night so far. So they will be mostly froze solid by morning . gonna loose some of 1 ham as she musta been. quartering away from the truck that hit her. This moose is at 3 families so far and some will prolly go to others also. I'm into spreading the wealth when it comes to good road kill. I've gone and got them and all we kept was the liver. But we were in need of meat so I'm real thankful for it. Had 2 good guys that helped . We r a 3 man. Road kill recovery team. Troopers actually called another friend. But his team already got their freezers chock full from previous road kills this winter. So he called me as he knew my freezer was pretty empty. It was a good time had by all.
Took us about 1 3/4 hours from start to in the rigs and driving off. Not counting travel time. I'm home now. Only pics that remotely came out.
I was going to do some measuring tonight. But then the fon rang. I'll try to get some measurement pic posted tomorrow.
