    I may see if u can get a cheapo china 044 carb if they make them??

    Checked last night that popup piston is not really cheap!! What was it like $20 if I remember right. Not like it's going to break me. It's not much for playing around but that is a good bit for an AM piston but my guess is that someone is cutom making them in smaller runs? Who is Cross by the way? I haven't googled or read on OPE. I'm lazy.

    lol i have a 290 with a 044 carb direct fit and it does help you can actually push on it

    I've got my dad's old 039 I need to do something with. Thinking about running this piston, 044 carb and air filter setup. Muffler mod alone woke it up some kind of crazy.

    I was thinking the piston was $30, but it does come with Caber rings.

    Yep I looked it was $30. Unless you buy a bunch of other stuff it's cheaper to buy it from HL supply of ebay. The shipping is cheaper...by a tad..inconsequential amount.

    Yea it does come with Cabers so there is like $8 so I guess that's what I was thinking the piston then becomes like $22.
