I'll do it today at some point depending g on the weather. Worst case I can go to Hannaford right down the road. It' a little more than market basket, but their busiest is MB's slowest. Just saw a neighbor pulling out of his driveway, snow is already falling. Glad I didn't tell the customer in Tilton that I changed my mind and was coming up this morning yet!
I'm really glad I don't have to drive to Malden and back to pick up my grandson. Did that 3 times this week. Nursery School vacation this week and next, but Dad is off next week. So just pop-ins.
Where I am, 3-5" today, then freezing rain on top of it tomorrow. Break on Sunday, then more snow Christmas day. It looks like Western Maine and northern NH get more, and are at risk for more power outages. Lovely.
Winter has actually been here for a bit. There's very little left, but the first snowfall from a few weeks ago is still on the ground. That almost never happens here. Usually, for a white christmas, it has to snow pretry close to the date.
We have a portable generator, 3500 watts, big enough to run the fridge, furnace, water heater, lights etc. We can shut it off at night and let the wood stove heat the house.
Good! That’s peace of mind. I just walked outside here and it’s raining ice pretty heavily the work van windows are totally iced over Looks like we may need our generator too...
Ugh We like winter just not the ice storms.... They do lots of damage every year. Hopefully yours aren’t bad...
Wow, you folks in the NE sound like you are going to get walloped this weekend. Looks like we are going to miss most, if not all of it. With about 4" of old snow on the ground that will be our "White Christmas". Everyone stay safe, take it easy.
They sprung us from the hospital yesterday with the snow forecasted. The weather guessers bumped up the accumulation to 4-8 inch. We are hunkering down for the weekend.
Congrats on getting out of the hospital room early! Those walls really started to close in on the second day. Enjoy a nice quiet long weekend with your little gift.
