Gas? HAHAHAHA! I've moved people about 20 times in my life. I think I got gas twice. I've actually got it down to an art form now. To bad it didn't pay well. The worst is when you show up and the S isnt even boxed up yet. As a God fearing man I try and live by the golden rule but I think even God has his limits.:hair:

Worked for 6 hours, felled 15 trees (avg DBH was 20" +), and ended up with a truckload of Cherry and Black Locust!

Even better, I made friends with the groundskeeper, and will be coming back on Wednesday to grab a couple other good sized Locusts

It was perfect, actually...I was the most experienced, so I did all of the felling and bucking; the other guys did all of the limbing and loaded my truck! Wish I had those guys every time I went out!

Yep, maiden voyage with the Masdam and the Blue Ox line...felled 3 trees that were leaning WAAAAY down the hill, and convinced them to go the other way . Nice piece of gear!

That’s the way to go and safest in that situation that you kind of have the “foreman” spot so as to do things right.

As for the rope puller how did that rope run in it? I may be getting a puller soon  and there’s a lot of talk I see about needing three strand rope.

It does a pretty good job, but doesn't perform as well as a three-strand would; the groove in the drum is specifically contoured to align with that line. As long as you keep good tension on the smooth line, it'll hold. I always throw a couple of half-hitches in it after I'm done pulling tension just to make sure it doesn't slip.

I'm all about economy of effort, that's why this stuff is my go-to nightcap...11.5% ABV (like drinking two and a half PBRs).

Only 12 oz’s? Bummer. Usually I see 22oz for these. I drink a beer called Monk’s Indiscretion. Not often but I definitely feel it before eating.
